The University of Delaware chapter of V-Day – a group of students of all genders and backgrounds allied in ending violence against women – approached me to promote their annual performance of Eve Ensler's famous production The Vagina Monologues. To portray the actors as vessels for other women's stories, we photographed the performers as "canvases" for projections of Georgia O'Keefe's floral paintings.
