The Rodney

HPG approached Racila Design to name and brand a new luxury apartment building located in the Pearl District – a neighborhood with 1920s-craftsman Portland charm. The name "Rodney" pays tribute to the history of the city and one of its most iconic early residents, Rodney Glisan. To honor the historical past president of the Multnomah County Medical Society, we created a minimal, sans-serif logo mark with a subtle nod to Art Deco. Deliverables included a set of window clings to introduce the new building to the community.
